Vaulted ceilings are beautiful to look at. They are often a contributor to heat loss
if insulation is not placed properly or the material does not do an adequate job of
preventing radiant heat loss.

You can retrofit an existing home by gluing one inch or 1.5 inch sheets of P2000
over the existing sheetrock and then screwing another layer of 1/2 inch sheetrock
directly over this application. In the conservatory shown, the WPR P2000 was used
as the finish product.

| |
You can also apply the P2000 on the roof side of the house, under a new shingle or metal
roof. See roofing or contact us with questions.
|
| |
Either way, you will save a bundle because that one or 1.5 inch of P2000 will now stop the exchange of heat and give you a performance equivalent that is better than twelve (12) inches of fiberglass, because it is going to Radiate the heat back into the room and the cold away from the house. (the opposite will hold true in the Summer)
On new construction it is much easier: simply apply the P2000 on the roof or ceiling side without the need to retrofit.
